From voice and ideas -
to influence
If you’re a woman operating at senior level in an international environment, you may recognise this:
Plenty of expertise — but a voice that isn’t always heard
Ideas that get lost, overlooked, or lose momentum in meetings
Holding back because of doubts about language, message, or relevance
You’re not alone in this.
And it’s rarely about a lack of ability.
It’s about how you express your ideas — and whether they land.
Because having strong ideas is not enough.
They need to be communicated with clarity and conviction - so they are understood, taken seriously, and acted on.
Caroline personifies exactly what she teaches others: poise, eloquence, quiet strength, compelling argument, rhetorical skill. Working with her in various settings has been thoroughly rewarding and enjoyable.

How I got here
For a long time, I was most comfortable in the background — helping others find their voice rather than using my own.
Standing on a stage used to feel like standing in the headlights.
Over time, that changed — not in one defining moment, but through a series of missteps, transitions, and quiet realisations about courage, language, and presence.
Growing up in Wales — the “Land of Song” — I learned early that voice carries meaning far beyond words.
Later, my work took me across cultures and borders — from Europe to Japan and back again — working in English, German, French, Spanish, and a touch of Japanese.
And I began to notice a pattern.
Brilliant ideas were being lost — not because they lacked value, but because they weren’t communicated in a way that allowed them to land.
This is where my work really began to take shape.
Because when we speak with presence, we create the conditions for understanding.
We slow down. We listen. We speak from experience rather than performance.
And that’s where real influence begins.
Caroline helps people communicate better - public speaking, yes, but to be the best of who they are, in whatever environment. She’s an inspiration: a fantastic communicator and professional, a linguist with a love of language, and a wonderful, deeply empathetic person.

What I like
Words — their colour, shape, and texture.
Water, especially small streams and babbling brooks. Open spaces and white space.
Quiet. Simplicity. Sincerity. Singing.
Green tea and cherry blossom. Autumn leaves and stormy skies.
Invented words, onomatopoeia, charades and Pictionary.
Films that move too slowly for my grown-up children.
I’ve discovered resources I didn’t know I had, and that I’m capable of communicating in a conscious, intentional and inspirational way that I’d never have imagined before.
