How well are you doing?
How do you know if you're a good communicator? 🤔
A client asked me this recently, and it's such a good question.
There are three ways I look at it:
✅ The results: are you being understood? Are you getting buy-in, alignment, or the outcomes you’re aiming for?
✅ The feedback you're getting — do people say you're clear, engaging, confident?
✅ But also: How do you feel when you're communicating?
Because here’s the thing:
You might be hitting your targets and getting praise,
…but if every presentation makes your stomach churn
…or you dread speaking up in meetings
…or you walk away from conversations replaying every word
— then something’s off.
You can be an effective communicator and still feel like you’re “diving into an empty swimming pool every time (you) speak,” as one of my clients put it.
The goal isn’t just to perform well.
It’s to feel more at ease in your own skin when you speak.
To trust your voice. To enjoy expressing yourself, even under pressure.
Because it's that confidence that opens doors, builds trust, and helps you lead.
If that kind of shift is what you’re looking for, let’s talk.
