A pitch that fits like a glove
What’s it to be? Baggy joggers, or a garment that fits like a glove?
Last week, I started working with a new business owner on her elevator pitch.
Our goal?
To craft a pitch that feels authentic to her, and gets her audience really excited to work with her.
And to practice delivery. Because a great pitch isn’t just talking at people — it’s opening a door to people.
My client has a very specific niche but varied client profiles. And, of course, a wealth of experience, expertise, and plenty of passion.
Not easy to transform all of that into a clear, concise pitch that speaks directly to the problem her clients face…
That’s where I come in: a thinking partner and coach who knows what questions to ask.
Together, we were on fire – and came up with a neat first draft!
I invited her to try it on for size over the weekend, because it needs to feel completely comfortable.
If it feels a little too tight, we'll adjust.
But we’re not aiming for baggy joggers here. We're designing something elegant, and made-to-measure.
A garment she can slip into with ease — one that makes her feel confident, powerful, and truly herself.
Our elevator pitch should feel less like a costume, more like a second skin — tailored to our strengths, values, and vision.
If you're a founder or in a leadership role, and you'd like support crafting a pitch (and a presence) that feels true to you, I’d love to help.
Send me a message — let’s create something that fits you perfectly.
