Confidence is not a requirement

You don’t wait for confidence.

You build it, by doing the thing, right?

As a recovering perfectionist (with a ‘slight’ tendency to procrastinate), I totally understand the temptation to wait to… dot-dot-dot.

Your dot-dot-dot might be to:

— present to senior leaders
— advocate for yourself to further your career
— go for that big promotion

I know that many brilliant women wait until they “feel” ready.

But I also know — from experience, and from coaching others — that confidence is not a requirement.

It’s a result.

As Jacinda Ardern, former New Zealand Prime Minister said:

“If you sit and wait to feel like you’re the most confident person in the room, you are probably going to be left by yourself.”

It’s about taking active steps to identify and overcome what’s holding you back.

Reflect, and practice.

Especially in a space where it’s safe to try things out.

✨ In my coaching, that’s exactly what we do:

We practice in a safe space, so it feels a whole lot easier when it really counts.

If you're ready to stop waiting and start building your confidence, with someone by your side, send me a message and we’ll explore if it’s a fit 💫
