Confidence, not arrogance
It took me years to learn this:
Talking about something you’re proud of doesn’t make you arrogant.
It doesn’t mean you’re showing off.
It means you see yourself clearly.
That moment when you allow yourself to say,
“I did that. And I’m proud of it.”
That’s powerful.
Especially for women who’ve been taught to downplay, deflect, or disappear.
So today, I’m taking my own advice.
I’m proud of the shift I sparked with a coaching client recently — by holding up a mirror and showing her just how brilliant she is.
She saw it too.
And I’ve watched her grow into the space that’s hers.
It gave me goose-bumps. The golden kind, as a friend calls them.
Moments like that are why I do this work.
And yes, I’m proud of it.
Over to you!
