The orange ball

A funny thing happened on my way to IESE Business School the other day.

A chance encounter with an orange ball took me out of my mental machinations, and into the realm of play.

How often does that happen? A moment of play in a working day?

But it added a healthy tint of colour, connection and energy to how I showed up afterwards.

When I walked into the classroom to coach a storytelling session… it was with a spring in my step and zing in my heart.

Click here to hear the short story in audio version (two-minute listen) from my podcast, Postcards with Presence – excursions into everyday connections.

I wonder, when was the last time you stopped to play in your working day? How did it feel?
