Happy Europe Day!
Sometimes, we get so focused on the day-to-day of our work that we forget why we started in the first place.
Producing becomes ingrained, like a well-worn coat we forget to take off.
This week, several things have reminded me of my purpose:
🌱 Coaching sessions with talented women charting their path in the world.
🌸 My recent inspiring conversation with Flor Farsadi, a global HR mentor whose work is at the intersection of people and AI.
🇪🇺 Europe Day – today, yay! – and my own journey to overcome language barriers, navigate cultural challenges, and find the courage to speak up.
As students, a friend and I interrailed across Europe, armed with a Let’s Go Europe! guidebook that was nearly as heavy as my rucksack. Starting in the Hook of Holland, and with a sojourn in a still-divided Berlin, we wended our way down to Kalamata in Greece.
Every new country brought its own language, culture, and history — and that rich diversity helped shape the way I see the world today.
My mission is to help others find and amplify their voice, especially women who are making a difference - or who want to - and face language, cultural and other barriers.
It’s about giving them the confidence to speak up, share their stories and convey their talent.
✨When we remember the moments that inspired us, we reconnect with our purpose… and our true voice.
So, what journey, or encounter, has shaped your path recently? What’s reminding you of your “why”?
