Embrace your quirky!

Many of us were brought up to fit in.

To keep our heads down and our noses clean.

To avoid being *too much* of anything.

For me, being an introvert (and yes, a school swot!) made that pretty easy.

Since then, I've had to learn to stand out – especially as a business owner.

And standing out from the crowd has now become imperative, because

In a world where AI can deliver polished content and presentations in seconds…

Fitting in just doesn’t cut it anymore.

The solution?

✨ Showing up as ourselves. Quirks and all.

In a recent podcast interview on how to save our jobs from AI, tech journalist Chris Stokel-Walker put it simply:

“We need to double down on what makes us unique.”

That means giving ourselves permission to share what AI can’t replicate:

🔸 Our stories
🔸 Our sense of humour
🔸 Our empathy

All the nuance, texture and dimension of human contribution and interaction.

So, let me ask you:

What makes you uniquely you?

And how might you show more of that in your work or leadership?

Because in a world of generative everything, it’s not conformity that connects.

It’s our humanity.
